Gve Me A Few More Seconds

I had a plan in mind to draw and animate as mindfulness meditation. I thought it would be a pleasure with ease and an effortless activity. But it turned out that it was so difficult to be calm and peacefully draw the changes in things. There were too many simultaneous happenings even in a quiet spot. It was so hard to catch the moments and the changes and record them on paper.

I spent about an hour per day around the Brisbane lagoon between 11-20 Sep 2024. After that, I composited those sketches into an animation. I sent it to my sound designer and let him use the ambience sounds I recorded to work on my animation. I see this work as a record of instants that documents and reflects the moments while I was struggling to capture the changes in things.
