Thanut Rujitanont

Thanut Rujitanont (Founder of Graphy Animation) was born in Bangkok, Thailand, in 1993. Invited as a visiting scholar in 2023, he is currently working on his PhD research at Griffith Film School in Brisbane, Australia. He holds his master’s degree in animation from RE:ANIMA European Joint Master. His first animated short film TEUN (Shallow), a BFA graduation film at KMITL, won the Golden prize at 18th Digicon6 Asia Thailand. He won Nef Animation Prize and Ciclic Animation Prize at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2017. His second animated short film Jongsawat (The Announced Tragedy), a Emjmd graduation film, won a Honorary Mention from the Animation Competition at 27th Thai Short Film & Video Festival in 2023. His first professional animated short film Peun-Ku-Larp (Rose Rash) has its world premiere in Perspectives Films Competition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2024.
